Rebecca is Executive Director of THEATRE.
She is also founder and co-director of the leading WA entertainment agency BIG SKY ENTERTAINMENT, booking hundreds of Western Australian entertainers for over a decade to the private and corporate sector and to the major mine sites including acts such as The Angels, Diesel, The Preatures, Hoodoo Gurus, Birds of Tokyo, Kasey Chambers, Downsyde, The Brow, Baby Animals and Eskimo Joe. Big Sky Entertainment artistically created and produced the Shakespeare 400 Festival, Perth at UWA in 2016, employing over 50 performers and produced the 2018 Riversea Arts Spring Festival, a collaboration between Bethanie Aged Care, Mount Lawley Senior High School and Agelink Theatre. Rebecca was a Creative Producer on the original West Australian musical/opera MIMMA, a musical of war and friendship at The Regal Theatre in April 2019.
Rebecca is also a professional actor and theatre creator and has appeared in numerous productions over the last 20 years in England, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and regional tours to country WA, VIC, and NSW. Rebecca’s work with Agelink Theatre (now THEATRE 180) has also involved interviewing seniors and assisting in creating scripts and stories for the stage. She has been part of the script development and production stage of over 10 of their shows.
Film & TV includes the US feature THE MYSTERY OF NATALIE WOOD, THE RECKONING, VICTIM (winner of six awards at the 2004 WA Screen Awards, official selection for the Sarasota Film Festival in Florida, Brooklyn International Film Festival, NY and St Kilda Film Festival), THE HEIGHTS, LOCKIE LEONARD 2, THE SLEEPOVER CLUB 2, MAGICIAN, STATE CORONER, MURDER CALL, and SHIPWRECK COAST.
In 2001 Rebecca was selected to represent Australia at the inaugural International Artistic Fellowship at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, London. She is also an Equity Guild award winner for best actress in Agelink Theatre’s production of THE GREATEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD.
