GREAT STORIES WELL TOLD

“A 180 degree perspective takes us through all ages of life – from youth to seniors and everything in between. THEATRE 180 recognises the value that the arts play in our society in nurturing, inspiring and challenging its citizens across all stages of their lives” Artistic Director, Stuart Halusz

THEATRE 180 wishes to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation, and those of the land on which we tour. We wish to acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this city, region and State of WA, and pay our respects to their Elders, past and present.

A wonderful morning spent by Jenny Davis, Stuart Halusz and Rebecca Davis with fabulous workshop participants exploring the craft of writing plays from oral and recorded histories. Lots of great ideas and conversation, prompted by the very many special stories within the walls of WA Museum Boola Bardip. Thank you Neil Sheriff for organising this lovely event and for your informative tour!

Participant Sharyn McCaskey gave some lovely feedback: What a brilliant workshop. The tidbits of information I took away will keep me educated and moving forward with my projects for quite some considerable time. A few hours very well spent.

Looking forward to our next Mornings on the Terrace show CRAZY DAYS AND LAZY DAYS by Jenny Davis on Thursday 28th Oct at Burt Hall, 38 St Georges Tce, Perth!

In spring the sap rises and the world comes out to play. A young cast of musical theatre graduates bring us songs to stir the blood and make mayhem, together with songs to dream away a sunny afternoon. Lucy Fraser and Marcus Gadd delight us with old favourites and modern greats. Together with the piano maestro, Craig Skelton, they bring us dramatic, comic and tender songs from recent musicals as well as plenty of classic numbers.

THEATRE 180 celebrates a vibrant young cast, both inspired by the greats of the past and excited about new musicals from around the world. What turns the head of a young person in spring? Why love, of course, together with all its hopes, dramas, sorrows and joys.

THEATRE 180 invites you to come with us and catch a little Spring Fever, as Lucy and Marcus dance their way through CRAZY DAYS and LAZY DAYS!
