GREAT STORIES WELL TOLD

“A 180 degree perspective takes us through all ages of life – from youth to seniors and everything in between. THEATRE 180 recognises the value that the arts play in our society in nurturing, inspiring and challenging its citizens across all stages of their lives” Artistic Director, Stuart Halusz

THEATRE 180 wishes to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation, and those of the land on which we tour. We wish to acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this city, region and State of WA, and pay our respects to their Elders, past and present.

We are thrilled to be taking A Fortunate Life back to @acecinemas Midland where we started! Whilst there we will be celebrating our 100th performance of this very special show. The cinema also stands next to where Albert and Evelyn Facey’s last house was. We are equally as excited to then take the show to @grand_cinemaswa Bunbury! Evelyn Facey grew up there and Albert and Evelyn were married in St David’s Church Bunbury. Bookings are open at www.afortunatelife.com.au

Final performance of the year for THEATRE 180 - A Fortunate Life at Joondalup @grand_cinemaswa
❤️❤️
A wonderful morning spent by Jenny Davis, Stuart Halusz and Rebecca Davis with fabulous workshop participants exploring the craft of writing plays from oral and recorded histories. Lots of great ideas and conversation, prompted by the very many special stories within the walls of WA Museum Boola Bardip. Thank you Neil Sheriff for organising this lovely event and for your informative tour!

Participant Sharyn McCaskey gave some lovely feedback: What a brilliant workshop. The tidbits of information I took away will keep me educated and moving forward with my projects for quite some considerable time. A few hours very well spent.
We are back! 4 performances only!
The team is so excited to perform A.B Facey’s A Fortunate Life at Grand Cinema Joondalup tomorrow and Sunday as well as next weekend. All performances 3pm.
