Crazy Days and Lazy Days by Sarsi Grace and Jenny Davis
Directed by Jenny Davis. Featuring Sarsi Grace, Hayley Currie and Craig Skelton In spring the sap rises and the world comes out to play. A young cast of musical theatre graduates bring us songs to stir the blood and make mayhem, together with songs to dream away a sunny afternoon. Sarsi Grace returns from London and joins with Hayley Currie, accompanied by Craig Skelton, to bring us dramatic, comic and tender songs from brand new shows such as THE LEGENDS OF ARAHMA and HADESTOWN, as well as classic numbers from musical theatre from the 1930s through to the 1970s, such as Cole Porter’s You’re the Top from ANYTHING GOES, Stephen Sondheim’s Another Hundred People From COMPANY. Composers like Rodgers and Hammerstein and Leonard Bernstein knew how to make young hearts beat faster with numbers such as Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair from SOUTH PACIFIC and I Feel Pretty from WEST SIDE STORY. THEATRE 180 celebrates a vibrant young cast, both inspired by the greats of the past and excited about the world of new musicals that is arising internationally after lockdown.
