WHO WE ARE

“An innovative and exciting theatre company showcasing Western Australian drama in a compelling way that truly engages and impacts its audiences.” Leanne and Sam Walsh AO – Co-Patrons, Secretary and Chair

“Great theatre is the living, breathing fire of humanity. A place where earth, air and fire come together and, through the shared experience of storytelling, transform people and elicit social change. It’s this element that drives us and it’s how we help measure the value of what we do. THEATRE 180 stands for authenticity and integrity, respect and inclusivity. Agents for social change, we seek through stories to understand our past, in order to illuminate the present, and thereby dream our future.” Artistic Director, Stuart Halusz

THEATRE 180 wishes to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation, and those of the land on which we tour. We wish to acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this city, region and State of WA, and pay our respects to their Elders, past and present.
