Grown and established in Albany, regional Western Australia, Gneiss Design is independently run by designer, producer and long-time Theatre-180 creative, Josephine Hayes. From the early days of cinestage productions, Josephine has relished working with Theatre 180, collaborating to evolve new and wonderful concepts in stage and screen production.
Josephine works carefully to evoke and inspire audiences through powerful audiovisual design, film making and digital illustration.
Gneiss Design’s bespoke creative services are propelled by themes of community, local stories and nature, tapping into the core foundations of human connection and communication to create dynamic content for ever-changing environments.
Josephine has a long history of designing content and cultivating creative experiences for Cinema environments, including for Theatre 180’s original award-winning Cinestage production, ‘A Fortunate Life’.
