Don’t Forget Me Cobber

RECOLLECTIONS OF WAR MUSEUM, Albany, Feb 22 and 23
A special performance at Recollections of War - a museum in Albany that focuses on the humanity of all people who have served.

Written by Jenny Davis. Directed by Stuart Halusz.

Saturday February 22nd 10:15 & 3pm

Sunday February 23rd 10:15 & 3pm

DON’T FORGET ME COBBER follows the story of three young West Australian soldiers  and a young VAD nurse from Albany, during their service at Gallipoli and in France during WWI. The horrors and dangers of combat changes their lives and tests them sorely, but camaraderie and humour, friendship, love and hope aid the survivors. The characters are fictional, but the play is written entirely from real letters and accounts, a testament to a generation that endured so much.

Ticket price includes the performance and entry into the museum

This performance is part of THEATRE 180’s Albany 2026 project called OUR PLACE: RAIN OR SHINE. We are honoured to be among the 7 Major Event Program projects as part of Albany 2026, led by The City of Albany   and thanks to a generous grant from Major Supporter, Lotterywest.
