Tadhg holds qualifications from the Royal Irish Academy of Music, Trinity College Dublin, and a B. FA (Acting) from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts, Sydney. Over the past 20 years Tadhg has happily and humbly stumbled into a wide variety of creative projects with some of the best in the business.

He has worked across classical & contemporary theatre, film and TV, Opera and Musical Theatre, as well as a sprinkling of radio shows.

Born in County Dublin and raised in The Garden of Ireland, Tadhg has a deep love for storytelling and music and only wishes he had paid more attention as his mother played those 120-year-old vinyls of Count McCormack singing Macushla and Kathleen Mavourneen. He has kept busy with roles in The Three Sisters and Richard II, Into the Woods, and the premiere of Starstruck the Musical, as well as ongoing roles with Breaksea, a multi-arts organisation based here in WA.

In 2021, he recorded vocals on ABCs radio play, The Convict Sessions, which documented the voyage and concerts that took place onboard the Hougoumant during that 3-month journey. He works alongside his wife, Maree Cole, and a talented group of performers on an improvised musical theatre show entitled Coded Comedy. In 2024 he enjoyed being part of WA’s amateur premiere of Come From Away with Koorlinhy Arts Centre.

This is Tadhg’s first production with THEATRE 180. He would like to extend his gratitude to the team who have invited him into this epic tale. Tadhg knows the audiences will witness something truly special in this work which explores hope and courage against monumental odds.
