Susan Fleming is the Founder and Managing Director of ACT Australia, a theatre-based safety and leadership training company. Susan has over 25 years of international leadership experience and has 8 years of Board experience. She is currently Chair of the Constable Care Foundation in W.A and has held Chair roles at the Australian Institute of Management Women in Business Committee and Edith Cowan University Early Childhood Centre.
Susan founded ACT Australia, a theatre-based safety and leadership training company 8 years ago in association with AKT UK Limited, London. The company runs programs nationally across all industries, including defence and government, employing professional actors and facilitators in all states. Susan’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Education, Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management, is a Graduate Australian Institute of Company Directors, and was made a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management in 2012. Susan has studied African Literature, and Drama, Society and Politics at Murdoch University.
Susan is Chair of the Constable Care Foundation, and has held Chair roles at the Australian Institute of Management Women in Business Committee and Edith Cowan University Early Childhood Centre. She has also been a board member of Board Member of International Skills Training Institute in Health (ISTIH), is a Founding Member Oceans Institute Committee, University of Western Australia, and member of the National Speakers Association.
Following international work in film, Susan’s recent senior leadership roles in Western Australia include State Director of CEDA, the Committee for the Economic Development of Australia (WA), and Senior Client Manager for the Australian Institute of Management for 7 years and was highly regarded for her contribution to innovation and for managing the entrée of AIM into China with leadership programs in Mandarin.
