Heather is a graduate of the University of Western Australia (UWA) with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Diploma of Education (Dip Ed). She is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a Master of Stockbroking (MSAFAA) and a Fellow of Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD). 

Heather sits on the boards of the Federal Government Remuneration Tribunal, Osteoporosis Australia, Tura New Music, The University of Western Australia University Club and ASIC Financial Services Consultative Committee. 

Heather is the former Chair of Lotterywest , Member of The Australian Government’s Takeovers Panel, Healthways, WA Regional Council of FINSIA, Chair of Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, WA Ballet, Australian Institute of Management (WA), Chief Executive Women and The Financial Sector Advisory Council.
