Theatre 180 announced as a finalist for the 2021 Western Australian Heritage Award.
We are thrilled to announce that we are a finalist for the 2021 Western Australian Heritage Award in the category of Community-based organisation!
It is an honour to be considered for this award alongside organisations doing such incredible work, including the Ferry Tram Project, Friends of Anzac Cottage Inc., Ganalili Centre, Heritage Skills Association WA Inc., and Littlewell Working Group.
“This year, 31 finalists were chosen across seven diverse categories for the 2021 Western Australian Heritage Awards. The high standard of the finalists chosen highlights the world-class work being undertaken in Western Australia in the areas of conservation and adaptive reuse, as well as the innovative work being undertaken in interpretation and heritage tourism.
The awards shine a light on the exemplary work being done within the heritage sector by volunteers, heritage professionals, local governments, community-based organisations and public and private organisations. The 2021 finalists include both Aboriginal and historic heritage, and span both the metropolitan and regional areas.”
